My Top Strategy for Successful Sales and
Through the last few years I have tried and tested many different methods for creating successful sales and promotions with my online business. What I have found to be the most consistently powerful is the use of scarcity tactics.
A scarcity tactic implies to the consumer that whatever you are offering is RUNNING OUT and encourages them to ACT NOW!
You can apply a SCARCITY TACTIC in 2 ways:
Volume: Telling the customer that you only have a certain amount of items in stock and once you run out they are gone for good! Or maybe you are only offering a discount on the first 15 sold.
Time: Limit the range of days that the promotion will apply. A very effective way to increase your conversion rate is to actually feature a "countdown" in the header of your site (you can see an example HERE on one of my sites).
You must remember to really highlight the element of scarcity in the overall promotion of your sale. Make sure you send out a newsletter on the last day and keep your fans up to date on your Facebook Page.
The more you remind them of the decreasing opportunity the
more motivated they will be to purchase.
