Which of Your Passions Should You Turn into a Business?
I have been able to successful start SEVERAL SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES so I wanted to share with you my tips for deciding which passion to pursue.
1) Market Saturation.
The first thing you need to do is look at the MARKETPLACE. Are there dozens of other people already doing a great job offering the services or looking to sell the products that you have in mind? A few competitors shouldn't discourage you, but if there isn't a real need for your offerings move on to the next idea. The weaker the competition, or the more UNIQUE and different your business, the better.
We are all positioned differently and the key to CREATING SUCCESS for yourself is knowing what you already have going on. Do you already have a blog with a steady stream of traffic? Or have you built a decent list of clients from your services? Many of us have preexisting contacts or CAPABILITIES that can greatly assist us in building the business of our dreams. Focus on what you are uniquely positioned to do.
3) What is the Best Value You Can Provide?
Whether you are selling a product or a service it all boils down to how much value you can provide for your customer. Instead of focusing on what would best FULFILL YOU, think about what trait or skill you have that could create the most amount of VALUE TO OTHERS. It is a winning strategy to get yourself to think BIGGER and SMARTER.
